Welcome to Bournville Junior School.
Our school was founded in 1906 as the personal gift of George Cadbury to complete the village of Bournville. George Cadbury specified that the school should provide education of the highest quality in an ethos which was forward looking and tolerant.
At Bournville Junior School we continue to cherish George Cadbury’s vision. We are proud of the reputation that the school has for high standards of achievement in teaching and learning, and for providing a caring and purposeful environment in which the individual needs and abilities of each child are recognised.
In our last OFSTEFD inspection we were judged as an “outstanding school”. “This, together with the extremely accurate assessment of strengths and weaknesses and the clear drive to raise standards, means that the school is outstandingly well placed to continue on its upward path”.
The success of our school depends on all those who make a contribution to it, governors, parents, children, staff and the local community all working together in partnership for the good of the school.
